BECOME A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR

The owner of Target Driving School, Martin Rogers, is a Straight Grade Six ADI, and is ORDIT Registered offering comprehensive and professional training courses.

To qualify for registration as an Approved Driving Instructor you must meet the following criteria:

1. Have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 4 years
2. Be at least 21 years of age
3. Have a clean driving licence (up to 6 penalty points may be allowed)
4. Be of good character and comply with an enhanced CRB check

All the training offered is on a personal 1 to 1 basis and is tailored to the individual's needs, so as to fit around your current employment and other commitments.

THE QUALIFICATION PROCESS:

Part 1 - Theory & Hazard Perception Test
Martin will provide a learning package including all the reference materials and support

Part 2 - Driving Ability Test
A driving course tailored to your needs. Martin will identify your strengths and weaknesses as a driver and then target the training towards your personal driving development until the required standard is achieved.

Part 3 - Instructional Ability
This is by far the most difficult part or the process and requires specialist training. Again training is on a 1 to 1 basis, using a structured programme, covering all the relevant instructional techniques until the standard is achieved.

FEES FOR THE COMPLETE TRAINING COURSE ARE VERY COMPETITIVE


As well as the full training course to qualify as an ADI, Martin also offers on-going training for qualified instructors.
